Symmetry and Contrast is a composition created as a study towards the elements and principles of design.

It is a series of drawings. Each has been analyzed and represented in Black and white and color.

In the compositions it is implemented the use of line, rhythm, repetition, balance, symmetry and asymmetry, shape and form.

In the color version, it was implemented as well the use of noise as a texture. This gave the drawing a different mood -more peculiar and dated as well as serene. In contrast, the black and white version creates more emphasis and has a sense of boldness.
